According to a post on the National Association of Letter Carriers' Facebook page, the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has been postponed for the 2nd year in a row.
NALC does have an ongoing Donor Drive where they encourage their members to donate food directly to local food banks.
It's a real shame because even though some people have been extremely frightened about Covid-19, it does not mean the need to stock food banks has gone away. For many people, assistance from local food banks has become a real necessity and life saver.
If you would like to donate to a local food bank, here is a list of Las Vegas - area food banks. If you happen to know of any food banks in or around Enterprise, I would love to hear about them - so that I can help support and promote the work that they do.
