Bass Pro Shops to Host US Open National Bass Fishing Qualifier on Saturday at Lake Mead

Bass Pro Shops is hosting their US Open National Bass Fishing Amateur Team Championships Regional Qualifier on Lake Mead this Saturday April 24th.

Competing teams will be competing for a $50,000 cash first prize and a chance to make it to the Championship finals.  The top 40 teams on Saturday will all qualify for the finals - and are eligible for cash payouts.

The biggest "lure" of the day is the chance for some lucky angler to possibly break the Largemouth Bass Nevada State record of 12.0 lbs which has stood since 1999.    If a register competitor does happen to break the state record, they win $1 MILLION in cash !!!!
